Mr. Joseph Olusegun Ogunro
Mr. Joseph Olusegun Ogunro is a founding associate of SNES. In his electrical engineering career, he has over 15 years of comprehensive and proven analytical professional experiences in advanced wireless telecommunication systems and power system engineering and delivery. At Alcatel-Lucent, he was responsible for every step from architecture to system testing. He has over 12 years experience of product development in AMPS, CDMA, UMTS and W-CDMA wireless telecommunication systems doing combination of architecture, project planning, system integration, system test and customer support.
His major professional work milestone include architecture and engineering of end-to-end CDMA wireless networks test labs for Verizon and UMTS networks test lab for AT&T. integrating Base Station subsystem, UE(mobile phones, e.t.c), Radio Network Controller, the Core Networks and doing Capacity, Performance, Resiliency testing to ensure product delivery meet Key Performance Index (KPI).
Prior to obtaining his M.S. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and after his national youth service (after obtaining a B.Sc. degree from University of Ife, Ile-Ife) he worked at Soko-Tech, Nigeria for 3 years, designing, planning and managing of 33/11/0.415KV rural electrification project. Some of these projects spanned over 80 miles across many communities and include construction and commissioning of 33/11KV transmission lines, transformer substations and distribution lines. As the resident site engineer, he was responsible for overall project management, budgeting and the primary interface with the government.
